Huh, I have jury duty next week. I’ve never tried to get out of it, but I do wish East Bay would try to make being a juror slightly less of a fiasco.
Last time I went, they forgot to update the voicemail to say we weren’t needed, so I had to show up anyhow. All the lights were off. People were talking behind locked doors. Another juror with me became mouthy with a clerk until we got an explanation and apology. And then they didn’t validate for their own parking garage, so we had to pay for it.
