People often confuse two ideas:
1. That deflation can’t work in a debt-driven, credit-based economy — which is true.
2. And that deflation itself is bad — which isn’t necessarily true.
In reality, deflation is what would naturally happen in a truly free market as technology makes things cheaper.
But we’ve never actually had a global free market — we’ve always lived in a system controlled by central banks and governments.
Everything we’re taught reinforces that system and makes us think it’s normal.
It has been normal… until now. Bitcoin introduces a completely different set of rules.
