My biggest pet peeve about #Mastodon, or perhaps the whole #decentralized #Fediverse model in general, is that servers will retain cached and/or outdated profile information.
Let’s say, I change my profile info, or I migrate to a new account and want to purge everything from the old account. These changes are reflected immediately on the local server, but the old info could live on in perpetuity on #federated servers that have not been updated, and there is no recourse to rectify that. 1/2
