I was pleasantly surprised by the support from #catstr for my cat. Your sats went straight to the vet and covered half the cost of a urine test ($6).
The results were good, considering the diagnosis. On the 9th, he’ll go back to the clinic for another blood panel and a thyroid check — he's already 14 years old, so thyroid issues might be starting too. I still hope he has a chance to reach a proper feline old age of 16–18 years.
The irony is, he's not even my cat. His owner passed away, and I took him in because he instantly got very attached to me.
