It's alternately great cause I can get a grip on the source texts with much less effort than working thru the Chinese myself. And maddening because the LLM just goes off by itself and starts spouting things that aren't in the source text at all.
I have to keep a pretty close watch on it and actually hand translate anything I care about.
But, overall, it's a useful research tool. A tool I can't trust ...
