CBDCs around the world are the next step towards social control. In Brazil, the government has already declared that Digital Real can be pawned or blocked by the State. What real guarantee will we have that we will not have our money UNFAIRLY seized? No one, if they don't even follow the constitution, who's to say they are not gonna be appropriating our money while having the power to do so. Collor de Melo (Brazil's former president) did this with savings accounts when there was much less technology.
Realize that these are always small steps towards restricting the most fundamental rights of human beings. They always present an excuse that involves one or more of the following words:
- Efficiency
- Practicality
- Technology
- Evolution
- Security
- Convenience
And the population always falls for these excuses. The real motivation is always one: to reduce our rights as much as possible until they achieve complete social control. One Trojan horse after another.
I kid you not, everything that is prohibited for the citizen will be permitted for the State and its friends or do you really think that politicians will buy votes, pay bribes and buy drugs on CBDCs?
Physical money will end because of CBDC, leaving bitcoin as a currency of corruption which they will undoubtedly ban from society while using it to perpetuate themselves in power.
