i think it is a lot to take in at once, and should be constructed through two separate apis. when i do so it makes it overly complex i thought in the UI to deal with and the backend. because i need one or the other to define one or the other in the rest API. then i suppose i could resolve it by using javascript to secretly create one, then permently create them once both are resolved?
