If you look at a heat map of GPS traces from athletes who have recorded activities on Strava, this is what it looks like.\n\nThis happens because they started recording their activity before they had GPS lock. So the activity records (0.000000, 0.000000) for latitude and longitude coordinates.\n\nIf I were into conspiracy theories, this would be evidence of aliens.
