This is basically why I always laugh when people try to call me out for being a 'stay at home dad'. I get to homestead, make sure my children grow up fully Christian, racist, and educated as well as have zero worries about the system screwing me over should anything happen (not that I am worried about it, married well). It's not ideal, but expecting ideal in modernity is a recipe for failure.
