I was thinking about this a bit more... Obviously Bethesda RPGs and FromSoft RPGs are very different mechanically. How could one improve the experience of the Red Mile Run within the framework of existing Bethesda game mechanics?
I think the main thing is to constrain the player. Give me a wide open space with all sorts of terrain and I'll use it to my advantage (aka cheese by boosting up onto tall rocks before engaging enemies)
