A (sincere) Christian question:
Is there a biblical basis that explains the effect of the New Covenant (salvation through Christ) on the Jewish peoples' status as God's chosen people?
I'm under the impression that Jews are the chosen people, but if they remain Jews and fail to convert to Christianity, they are outside the grace of God.
Christians stating we have to stand with God's chosen people (who aren't Christian) makes me think these things.
Please explain.
