Rheristies 🇦🇱 on Nostr: I find it much easier to get into a character's headspace (role-play) in video games ...
I find it much easier to get into a character's headspace (role-play) in video games when I'm given a semi-defined character rather than being able to make my own. This is not because I'm uncreative (no really I must insist it is not) but because game devs can't really make a world that reacts to and interacts with your character compellingly if they don't know who your character is.
Also because I'm a minmaxxing bastard and it's really hard to take it seriously when my goofy-armored wizard nerd flies up to an NPC at an absurd speed and gets the same generic dialogue as always.
