Colombian President Gustavo Petro affirmed that he will talk to Nicolás Maduro to see if they will build a special economic zone on the border. “I am going to talk to Maduro to see if we build the special economic zone”, expressed the Colombian president during a speech in Tibú, a border municipality with Venezuela. “If the decrees are overturned we cannot build the road quickly, so we have to go somewhere, but we cannot stay here in the middle of cocaine,” said Petro after expressing the possibility of talking with Maduro to see if they build a special economic zone on the border.
