"People with SAD often say they feel like hibernating." I call it going into a crouch position, waiting for the thing around the bend (#SAD) to make its presence known. It starts around September/October (which strangely is also one of my favorite times of year weather-wise with the crisp air and leaves changing) and reaches its zenith around Christmas -- a perfect psychic storm. Being in L.A. and walking and getting as much light as I can helps.
