The detail that I just keep coming back to in my mind: when they started filming The Apprentice, Trump was so broke and his org was so deep in debt that “even the conference rooms at Trump Tower were so dilapidated that they had to be faked.”
The TV show paid for the fake conference rooms, IIRC, because Trump couldn't afford it.
