I had a Bank of America account when I was in college and absolutely none of this surprises me. I had an account geared towards college students but there were several occasions during college and immediately after that I would get duplicate charges for insufficient funds or, more often, charged for not maintaining a minimum balance.
Switching to a credit union and getting out of that abusive relationship was one of the best financial decisions I've made. Stick it to em
