To protect yourself and your family, go underground and follow these easy steps:
Set up a Linux Computer
Windows and Apple OS always require software updates.
Linux does not do anything unless you tell the system to do it.
No updates, no hassle.
What I also like is that my Linux computer is not online all the time.
I connect via WiFi, but set a password before connecting.
In this way, I always know when I am online.
It is a little bit like 20 years ago when your modem made these connecting noise…
Install a Virtual Private Network (VPN)
To protect your IP address to be tracked, hide your IP using a VPN.
Use Proton VPN for Swiss quality.
Create an Anonymous Email Address
To hide your real identity, create a new identity on the internet.
Create an email address without any relation to your real identity.
Use Proton Mail for Swiss quality.
Create an Anonymous Website
To hide your real identity, create a new website with your anonymous email address.
Use WordPress for the most popular website creating software.
Use Substack for a popular journalist website creating software.
Or both.
Create an Anonymous Twitter Account
To hide your real identity, create a new Twitter account with your anonymous email address.
Link your Website to Twitter
Go to Tools, Marketing, “Get social, and share your blog posts where the people are” and click “Start Sharing”.
Publish Blog Posts on WordPress.com
As soon as you publish your latest post, the blog post will automatically be published on Twitter, too.
Create an Anonymous Nostr Account
Nostr is a decentralized social media protocol making your posts really private.
Create an Anonymous Lightning Wallet
With a lightning wallet, readers can “zap” you, i.e. send you money over the lighting network.
Use Alby to login on a website with username and password. No download needed, no app on the phone. Just use the internet from all over the world.
Use the Alby extension to manage your payments and Nostr keys.
Get an Unregistered SIM Card
I heard that getting an unregistered SIM card is still possible in the Netherlands, for example at Albert Heijn or any supermarket.
