since learning more about Tempest attacks, i've learned that it's possible to find out what's on another computer's monitor with a simple SDR device and a laptop, if you know how to look for the signals and decode them. the RCMP have those Stingray boxes in their trunks, intercepting cell phones. if you're in downtown Ottawa any time, near parliament hill, and you notice your phone's service is acting funny, you might want to turn your phone off.
