Yeah, I think I missed the memo that said coalitions amongst people who mostly agree is a bad thing. I blame the rock I live under.
I agree with your framing about how many are viewing it. Though, I would also add that many seem to be in a pragmatic-camp - they recognize the genocide is bad, but because it is an issue that harms Biden, they are against the protests. (Like, I kind of get that logic, but also think it misses the mark when standing up to genocide becomes a bad thing.)
