npub18yve5f33hyqq35t3y3xu72t9x33pfdznd0kq78lf73wkxchzr5hsmjxxyn (npub18yv…xxyn) My favorite bullshit argument. I keep hearing that Hashicorp just trotted out: "95% of the code was written and maintained by employees"
They have just revealed the real problem is not competitors bundling their fully available code. The problem is their complete failure to take advantage of the Open Source model beyond "it lets developers try it out easily and get hooked."
In other words, they failed to build a contributor to community and are blaming that on their license choice.
