#WritersCoffeeClub 10 Oct: How do you research and plan your stories
(I'll just speak to the research part)
Often the thing that sparks a story is something I'm interested in or curious about--so the story gives me an opportunity to read more about the thing. I *love* the stuff I've learned for stories--a case of "write what you WANT to know." Writing has changed my life, taken me (at times literally) to places I barely knew existed.
