#PennedPossibilities 268: Would you ever include a scene that violated the rules of your universe if the reader would never find out?
Not on purpose? But also, at some point it becomes almost impossible to write a world that isn't at least a little internally inconsistent.
For example, it's super-common for fictional worlds to eventually become morally or philosophically snarled in ways that most readers just gloss right over. Do I aim for that? No. Does it happen to me anyway? Yeah probably.
