Watched a very well done video essay on the 2013 PC game “Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs”…a game about absurd, unending human greed and consumption, and the “solution” to it - a machine that automates human sacrifice.
“Kill everyone, and end human existence”. Scary stuff. Video talks about the themes, and settles on the issue of humanity in our actual existence BEINGG (wait for it):
Capitalism. lol.
I truly hope that Bitcoin can help people to see that our unit of account - our money, our current framework for saving our time - is the thing that has turned humanity into ever-consuming “pigs”. Not capitalism.
It can be fixed. We can win. More people need to come to this realization.
Maybe one day. 🙏
