i finally stepped inside the church at the top of the hill that i am always walking past to go shopping

very nice vibes in there, though their candles were a vending machine with nasty LED lights... i have a heap of small coins so i'll go up and pop one in every time i pass now, just because...

feeling very reverent and like it was boaventura that i came to this little town, like the name says

also got one of these funny LED shrine candles, heart shaped, that people put on shrines, i've strapped it to my front gate, and i'm burning a real candle inside my house now

never been in a catholic church before, though several times outside, and never been that keen on catholic doctrine, most especially not the mary or trinity thing, but i have always pretty much been a christian, though i got quite lost along the way, even had a satanist girlfriend who was a fan of Ayn Rand (!) who put a nice white alien face on top of an old chaos magick symbol on my right shoulder

anyway, it's because thanks to one lady who pointed me to some stuff about the story of christians who rebelled against thte covid regime, a protestant, and then a catholic, who i ended up being attracted to interacting with (well, she's married, but ok) who is an avid rebel against thet nostr establishment... and here i am in "portugal" and this church i'm going to go to mass this sunday morning is called "igreja de matriz da boaventura" (the church of the mother of good fortune)

it's all lining up for me with this
