You don't seem to understand.
You can install a custom rom, AND THEN you can choose to install Google apps on that phone with. Giving you the functionality of the power button AND Google apps.
Or you can install a stock Android 15 rom on a phone WITHOUT google apps. And you still won't have functionality of the power button.
The issue here has nothing to do with being "de-googled". And everything to do with the fact Google is the developer of Android.
