#WritersCoffeeClub 24. How comfortable are you with ambiguity as a reader? As a writer?
With numerous German folk tales, my first reaction upon reading them was:
"WTF just happened?"
I am only being faithful to the source when I try to convey the same feeling with my translations - although I do try to add some of my speculations about the events in the tale so that my own readers aren't completely lost.
