I've heard that Apple has pulled Microsoft-like shenanigans with other apps, by the way. What I heard is that it went like this:
1. Somebody makes an app, which we'll call X, and sells it on the App Store.
2. Apple makes a similar app, which we'll call Y, and sells it on the App Store.
3. Apple removes X from the App Store for reasons that are <sarcasm>totally not</sarcasm> related to the fact that it's now competing with Y.
