I was hired at "senior" and then got promoted twice in three years, to "senior staff". In modern Twitter, I only know of one other person who was promoted as quickly to senior staff (someone who worked in revenue).
It turns out, if you make a company hundreds of millions a year (with revenue ~$4B-$5B, profit ~$0), this can often be ok for your career. Per
