I have a history of posting what some consider to be dogmatic statements based on controversial issues, and even though I have no interest in arguing with people, this has always bothered those who seek conflict. Some social media posters seem to think I am obligated to defend my position or at least respond to their commentary because otherwise, why did I post it?
Who made up this rule, and when did we all agree to it?
