sorry I never got back to you on this! I haven't hyper focused on this much so don't put too much into it, but off the top of my head, there are a couple things. One of the most significant is Scythian Enarei/Anarya, trans priestesses, who would use cannabis for "ritual", but I think even Herodotus admits they also used it for funsies, too. As I recall, they would have a tent, a small fire, and hot stones. They'd put the cannabis on the hot stones so the smoke would fill the tent. There is archeological evidence, including seeds and stuff to back up historical claims, including those by Herodotus.
Also, side note, we get the word cannabis from the Akkadian word, qunnabu, which was also used alongside the Sumerian term Sim.Ishara, in reference to Ishtar/Inanna, whose priesthood (largely trans), would also use it similarly to the Scythians.
