The pineapple-on-pizza thread actually has me wondering:
It is just a struggle of pineapple on pizza that pineapple is wet, and thus demands something dry/salty (such as bacon/ham) as a physical counterbalance. Could this be solved by adding pineapple juice to the tomato sauce rather than having chunks of pineapple?
