We just received the call we’ve been dreading all weekend. The hospital calling the tell my partner that my father in law is in his final days - 2 or 3 at most. We knew it was coming after this weekend visits and seeingg how far my FiL had deteriorated. It was inevitable and yet, still comes as a shock to the system.
Today, I am numb.
