it can't be PSU (at least I don't think so) as the IPMI still works. my assumption is right now, motherboard. not sure why it would go bad all of a sudden but these things happen.
i also don't have any spare parts on hand yet. I do have a friend who lives locally but it's always calling in favours and that.
