The parable of three talents is the worst, because it says the AMOUNT of works is as important as just works.
One man buries the talent (Christ's sacrifice) and does nothing with it, returning 1 talent to his master. For this he is punished, because he at least could have put it to earn interest (put his salvation into another mans hands). This is every "faith only" McChristian.
