i hadn't got to running any testing of relays or whatnot... i typically use my VPS to mainly be running a reverse proxy (does my nip-05 as well) to expose web servers (and websockets) to an internet address, getting around frequent problems with clients not wanting to use a site not on an internet address and/or without TLS, this solves both problems, and lets me run, for example, a nostr relay on my machine and point a client at it to use/test it
well, without a WG address i can't do that, and the WSL environment doesn't have the kernel for it out of the box, the required setting is disabled... anyhow, building the kernel now, so i will have the needed firewall feature and not have to tamper with more local firewall configuration
