I posted a note earlier today that I am not proud of.
It was pretty long, so if you read it I apologize for stealing your time.
I am ashamed of that note for a few reasons. I had to reflect on that a bit.
Why did I even have the thought?!
I am ashamed of it bc I was masquerading PTSD as some strong man, cool stuff and that type of behavior does not move the conversation forward at all. If anything I probably set that conversation back.
I am ashamed of it bc while there are no lies in what was said, I don't want the same to happen to the 7 year old me that started ESL this fall.
I don't want war.
