"content": "I really think #UK should have provided\n-very tiny amount of #QE just for initial shock\n-protected depositors not banks, FSCS\n-issued it's own mortgages if necessary (with rent paid track record = mortgage payments eligibilty improvement)\n-swapped QE for #UBI, stimulate bottom up not top down\n\nI suspect the cost benefit would be multiple times better than QE across wide not solely economic metrics.",
