So, I was talking to my Trump-supporting, Tucker Carlson-watching, Candace Owens-fan boying brother the other day, and I was wondering about this dynamic I've seen in too many* Black people. To my eye, all three of those people openly advocate for white supremacy. Their approach to policing, music, social welfare, immigration, etc., all support that.
But all three of them (plus associated ppl) also at various times say they have no idea what white supremacy is - never even heard of it! And that seems enough for him.
I understand why white people engage in manufactured ignorance, but I"m genuinely baffled why POC also choose not to see it. I have ideas, but it's so evidently contrary to self interest.
