I look at $80k car loan, and think I must be getting really old or frugal or something... or interest is even more out of control than perception.
I spent $4500 (maybe up to $15k all in, now, like 8 years later) on my last car, and it's a pretty nice car to drive.
That's not to say I wouldn't like a nice M340i or something, but I wouldn't even spend $80k on that. I'd find a used one for $30k.
