XRP has a few fundamental flaws
BFT consensus is nothing special now. The banks could spin up a Tendermint chain (Cosmos SDK), or Hotstuff, or whatever, and have the same functionality without the unnecessary intermediary XRP token.
Why would they adopt a non-novel technology with an unnessesary intermediary token that has a large proportion of the float owned by a private company, and pay transaction fees to XRP holders on top of that.
Barnkers aren't fools, and therefore this will never happen.
