I do not know the specifics of CPTPPA, but I assume few actually do with that many pages and written by corp lawyers. FTA's are often, as you describe, opposed to free trade. I read a good book called Silent Coup about how FTA's have been implemented and enforced around the world. Free software can skirt FTA's because it is trade free.",
