Powering up the steam engine and some attached machinery. The engine is 20 years old and the attached machinery ranges from 30 to 50 years. These are pieces that I have found in local junk shops or even recently at an Oldtimer Markt. It's an excellent learning "toy" and gives everyone an insight into how things can be powered using boiling water. Lots of fun, and let's face it, if it wasn't for the steam engine, we would have no digital anything.
