It's kind of hilarious that the backlash against the #TikTok ban had the unintended consequence of Americans using to #rednote and learning mandarin, but also it's even funnier that the influx of English also fucks up Chinese censorship.
I hope that this ends up being an opportunity for Americans to learn how to evade censorship and detection before the US turns the fash to 11. Maybe there will be unintended trouble for both authoritarian governments.
