Ordered a bottle of Black Star India ink for my dip pen adventure, just to see what the fuss is about. Plus some Dinky Dips little screwcap mini inkwells and a block holder, for dip pen use and ink sampling.
Last night tried a bunch of my fountain pen inks with dip nibs. My favorite so far is my Noodler's 'Walnut' ink (it's not actual walnut ink, just walnut ink in color)... looks wonderfully antique and seems to have enough body to work well.
