I asked gpt3 to write me a joke about nostr— it wrote a pretty bad joke but I loved the idea of a Nostrich.
Then I started playing on Midjourney and made the initial
Nostrich (npub1khd…y9x4) image. I used purple because
damus (npub18m7…q955) was already purple and Bitcoiners have plenty of orange stuff already.
jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) proposed it as the unofficial mascot, then
jack (npub1sg6…f63m) tweeted the Nostrich on Twitter and it stuck.
