I'm reminded of the conspiratorial theory that 'the deep state' likes to "kill two birds with one stone."
The opportunity to take out 'a bunch of terrorists in Lebanon' by itself may not offer enough incentive to act but what if doing so could also discourage westerners from purchasing Chinese-brand devices which are increasingly beginning to look like a better value?
