It shouldn't come as any surprise that the most stressful factor in any household isn't the economy or the weather or political factors. It's the family itself.
US families are so very isolated, even in cities. Our militant individualism harms our ability to reach out to others, to form community. This is a product of patriarchy and colonialism.
