My problem with nuclear power is the same as my problem with the Space Shuttle.
Sure it worked, and we were in space, but it drained all the budget to do other better things and held us back.
Nuclear power is low carbon, but you can produce an awful lot of solar, wind, tidal for that money a lot faster
