As a person using the ZBD (nprofile…7p8s) app to access Nostr, I know this. Have asked a few different ways for my nsec. Been told it’s coming, and I believe them. They have a different focus than other Nostr client developers to whom self-custody is a requirement.

I can see it both ways: get people straight on npub/nsec first, then using Nostr. Or get people involved in Nostr first, npub/nsec later.

I tried Nostr via Damus first and gave up.

I tried Nostr again via ZBD and love it because of the support the folks who built the current walled garden that is the alpha version of ZBD Social (ZBD is so much more than just a Nostr client).
