I've gotten wasteful with my previous laptop and it's 32 GiB RAM. The new laptop's 16 GiB results in occasional Linux kernel OOM monster eating my desktop session. Running multiple Electron applications, and many browser tabs, and the Rust toolchain takes up a lot of memory, it seems.
